Dennis T. (Tim) Crowe, Jr., DVM, Diplomate ACVS Emeritus, Charter Diplomate ACVECC, FCCM

Dr. Crowe is a pioneer of veterinary emergency medicine and first aid and has been contributing to the field for more than five decades. He truly embodies the philosophy of multi-disciplinary collaboration, being a founding father of the American College of Emergency and Critical Care , a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgery, a Fellow of the American College of Critical Care (human medicine), a firefighter, a Nationally Registered Advanced EMT, and a great harmonica player.

Throughout his career he has received many awards including the Zaslow Award from the Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society in recognition of pioneering work, and advancement of emergency care and procedures and critical care, the Mentors Award from ACVS for years of providing mentorship to surgical residents, and the President's Citation from the Society of Critical Care Medicine for his outstanding contributions in advancing medical education and his commitment to Critical Care.

His vision and passion to continually expand and improve medicine has resulted in more than 500 journal publications and textbook contributions and countless lectures and workshops.
