Course Information:
This course will take you through the fundamentals of IMHA patients. The physiological process of IMHA will be discussed along with the diagnostic approach and treatment of the acute abdomen patient. To earn a certificate of completion the participant must complete all learning modules and score 80% or better on the end-of-course test. Completion of the course will take a minimum of 71 minutes. Participants must complete the participation requirements by June 30, 2023 to be eligible for a certificate. Learning Objectives:
Upon completion of the course, the participant should be able to
- Review relevant pathophysiology of IMHA.
- Identify a practical approach to the diagnosis of IMHA.
- Develop a logical and medically sound treatment plan for a patient with IMHA.
Level and Prerequisites: This basic drip.vet/VIN CE self-study course is open for enrollment to veterinarians actively interested in Immune Mediated Hemolytic Anemia. This course is open to VIN members only.
Accreditation: This non-interactive course is approved for 1 hour of continuing education credit by RACE for veterinarians. (RACE 20-843074)
