Jacqueline Brister, DVM, is a medical writer with a background in clinical veterinary medicine and research. She received her veterinary medicine degree in 2010 and has been writing and interacting with patients and clinicians ever since. She has a passion for science, learning, and the written word. She seeks to improve the lives of patients through education, in both consumers and doctors, as well as helping bring valuable drugs to market. She has furthered her writing experience and education by obtaining the Essential Skills Certificate through the American Medical Writers Association as well as taking courses in regulatory medical writing. Dr. Brister's services include editing, medical communication for the consumer, and medical writing for clinical education.
