Susan Wynn, DVM, DACVN

Dr. Wynn is a 1987 graduate of the University of Georgia’s College of Veterinary Medicine. She completed a clinical internship in Washington, D.C., and a fellowship in viral immunology at the Emory University School of Medicine. After 30 years of clinical practice, she became a board certified specialist in Veterinary Nutrition.

She is co-author of four books on holistic medicine, including Veterinary Herbal Medicine, Manual of Natural Veterinary Medicine: Science and Tradition, and Complementary and Alternative Veterinary Medicine: Principles and Practice. Dr. Wynn writes, teaches and speaks on the subject of clinical nutrition and integrative medicine. She is also certified in acupuncture and herbal medicine.

Dr. Wynn has served as the executive director of the Veterinary Botanical Medicine Association, president of the American Academy of Veterinary Acupuncture and the American Holistic Veterinary Medical Association, and the boards of the American Academy of Veterinary Nutrition and the Georgia Veterinary Medical Association.
