This conversation will explore tips from an experienced shelter surgeon to aid with performing bitch spays. Discussion will include patient preparation prior to bitch spay surgery, anatomical landmarks that are useful to locate prior to performing a bitch spay, sutures and ligatures to use, and ways of closing the abdomen.
To earn a certificate of completion, the participant must complete all learning
modules and score 80% or better on the end-of-course test.
Participants must complete the participation requirements to be eligible for a certificate.
