COURSE DESCRIPTION
This continuing education course will focus on the pathogenesis of FIV infection, diagnostic testing, prevention including vaccination, and treatment. Different FIV strains will be discussed. Clinical signs will be summarized. Interpreting the FIV tests available to practitioners will be covered. At the end of this session, the practicing veterinarian will be able to advise clients on how to prevent infection and how to monitor the FIV infected cat.

Attendance at the Interactive Session is open to veterinarians and Veterinary students and does not require registration.
