Course Information:
There's more to a successful NAVLE(R) score than knowing facts and interpreting data. It's also important to have the frame of mind that best sets one up for success. Drs. Michele Gaspar and Bree Montana of the VIN Foundation's Vets4Vets program will offer a free, 45-minute chat/didactic session that will help test takers, whether it's their first time or not, learn ways to manage anxiety, study "smarter and not harder" and enter the exam with confidence, all within a safe space that fosters collegiality.
Topics Include:
  • Is test-taking anxiety helpful or not?
  • Time management
  • Test question reading
  • Dealing with anxiety, shame, and depression
  • Utilizing VIN Resources
And... whatever group members bring to each session. Participants can choose to come weekly (highly recommended) or pop in when they feel the need.
